The final version of my exercise. I don't want to upload the Naruto Pic alone so I uploaded the whole pic instead ^^;
Took me kinda long and I hate Narutos hair but oh well...
It's a little hard to see, but I used purple to shade Narutos skin and I must say, that I like the effect of purple :d

OMG!! This coloration looks soooo good!!^^ You've improved again! I specially like Naruto's skin. I love the purple effect too, it suits perfectly with the blue sky^^ And his T-shirt is great too, it looks even more natural than Sakura's clothes.
And it must be hard to color Naruto's hair, specially with this kind of shading, but you managed to make it looks great!!
I've added it to my faves :+favlove:

PS: This makes me want to try this kind of shading too, i think i'll take a look at this tutorial soon ^_-

Its not an insult, Im not gonna go and browse your gallery if I know this picture doesnt belong to you and you have nowhere stated the artist who actually made it. And that edit to show creator wasnt there when I originally posted. And my journal had nothing to do with you btw. You just happened to catch the wrong one.

I also don't wanted to insult you so first of: sorry if I sounded to rude. Yes - you are right: I've forgot to post the link to amarettis Tutorial which I did with my previous version. I uploaded my Pic 5:00 am (still awake because I have late shift) and was just a little pissed.
Anyway - still thx for telling me my mistake in not crediting, but please note, that I don't steal - let's just say I forgot it

Well - I must say I kinda like making shades using purple - used it again on Hidan ^^; and the T-Shirt was a pain in the ass. I dunno why, but I find it kinda harder to shade dark things like the T-Shirt oô
Aaaand - let#s not talk about the hair - I hate it >< but still thanks :p

Yay - good to hear that I kinda inspire you to try this style of coloring. amarettis tutorials are really helpfull - and it will help you get used to your pen too =)

its really good, I like it, clothes look neat, skin too although you might wanna tweak the light illumination and the highlights on Naruto's hair a little, Keep it up ;)
